ds pic not working after changing the crystal settings

my ds pic 30f6010a is not working. at first when i soldered it worked, after changing the crystal settings in ccs ( i think i setted the wrong parameters) and burned using pickkit2 after that the chip is not detected in pickit2. kindly tel me the nature of the problem
is there any way to rework the chip?

yes i erased the chip but also my pic kit2 is not detecting the other dspic chips are working fine. my doubt is by setting the wrong crystal setting can the chip be spoiled ?
