hello,

Right-now i am working on project of generating PWM signals on xmega microcontoller.
Previously i have worked on PIC with "MicroC for PIC" IDE. Right-now i am working on Atmel studio. in "MicroC for PIC" many libraries were there so our work is really easy in case of some complex interface like LCD. I know there are also some libraries in Atmel Studio. But i am not able to understand where should i find. So my question is how can i locate those libraries and is there any example which could explain exact functioning of those commands.

Atmel studio is treading the way of a classical C compiler, so they'll have external source or object libraries instead of built-in libraries, if any.

Ok. So could you tell me how to learn about this? I have to program timers and whatever examples I have seen so far are using so called libraries and I don't have any idea. I know it is somewhere inside atmel studio but how to get information about all those functions?

Atmel says:
Software Libraries and Device Support

The Atmel Software Framework is a collection of production-ready source code such as drivers, communication stacks, graphic services and touch functionality. Tap into 1,600 project examples with source code to accelerate development of new applications.
I would expect some kind of documentation or help files.
