query about the new matlab version

i am doing the project on face detection.i want to know new version of matlab can support real time video i.e i connect camera directly to pc.
is new version can process the contineous data that is coming from camera?
guide about choosing of camera.
 

u do have some functions in matlab where matlab will identify the camera and do the needed algorithm for face detection. which new version are u talking abt?? you just have to google it and u will find matlab documentation regarding your task..maybe u will get an application which you are looking for.
