How to setup DC of windows version?

hi,everyone

I'm a beginner and i don't know how to setup a windows DC

i want to know whether wo need to setup the defaults option of the setup menu

everytime we enter design analyzer

i wrote a program in veilog ,how to synthesis in DC?

since i didn't have .db and .sdb file of the program i wrote ,how to setup the link

library ,target library and the symbol library??

i think it's better to write a script file include all environment (files, path, constraint etc).
btw, i remember synopsys dc check dc_setup from 3 place, working directory, home directory & software install directory.
just try to check install directory on wins.

does anyone have materials or tutorials on windows?
 

Its better to write script and load in DC environment.
 

The setup file is basically the same in both unix and windoz. The attached is a tutorial of DC, check with page 5-24 to 5-25.

You don't. As someone said, the last release was in 2000. 2000.05 IIRC. You probably don't want it anyway; it' slow, crashy, a waste of time.

Script files are similiar to those on Unix.

let me know anyway to import latest .db file in 2000.05 DC?
i try to import that database.db but it asking old version of library?
how i can fix that problem?

synopsys stop release DC from 2000.05 release.
next version release only for linux and sun solaris.
i need help on 2000.05 windows version libarary .
i cant find any help on give library of new version.

The library for saloris may be compiled from the .lib.
how to get it for windoz?
Can it be got with compiling?

It is always good to set attributes in DC scripts because it is controllable and repeatable.

u have library of 2000.05 DC?

It is just a test.

Well, the target lib is from your vendor, the symbol lib is from DC, should be inside your DC folder, the link lib is the addition of both target lib and the core, the pad and anything else you have used in your design.
