Hello,
I am a VLSI post graduate, and I want to start a business in the VLSI industry. What kind of work do I have to get, and how do I get a particular project on FPGA and ASIC verification?
 

one of the two things either required for you to startup a industry.

1. contacts - who can trust your work and capability to assign you work.
2- own ideas - invest in your own ideas and get it marketed automatically you will be thrown in to another pool one after the other.

why dont you try with the companies of your interest describing about the nature of the work that you can do ?
