Will properties of ferrite core (used to build inductor/transformer for SMPS) be degraded over time? Thanks.

These materials are basic non-organic chemicals and should be stable with time. Shock can cause cracks which form air gaps. High temperatures can change the mu.

ill be add ... under regular condition .. without a damp, water and and and ...

bye!

All materials, regardless they are organic or not will be degraded over time.

Over time, the tolerances of the components are degraded

For some special components (military. automotive) aging of the components are avaiable from the manufacturer of the components.

So Ask the manufacturer for precise data.

some matterial like ferrite that settele on magnetizing enviroment will degraded over time but with low degaraded only making it,s characteristics diffrent as it for firs time (it's olso depent on material of te ferryte)
