suntrucking using a gps

what do you know about suntrucking using a gps I mean by knowing the solar position without using a sensors I want to start this project and all what I have is the idea
thank you
 

what is suntrucking?

I know sun-tracking but don't see a need for a GPS unless to first establish latitude and so optimum angles for that latitude
