Hi everyone! I'm trying to simulate a simple voltage amplifier made using models from AMS Hit Kit 4.10 (ams 0.35 um) in Cadence IC 6.1.5.500.15.
When I try to simulate the circuit using ADE L and spectre as simulator I got this error in the Output log menu. (See attachments)
Error in the Output log (1).png
Where MP and MN are pmos4 and nmos4 from PRIMLIB library (which is part of the Hit Kit).
Does anyone knows how to solve that problem?
Any further help will be appreciated!

Hi, I'm not sure how to do that. I'll show you my ams installation directoryInstall directory.png
Now If I add in ADE->setup->model library all the files .scs contained in the folder spectre in my installation directory the output log menu when trying to simulate gives me that:log error (2).pnglog error 3.png
Am I wrong again? What is the filename extension that I should look for?

Just want to notify everyone that I solved the problem! Using the solution provided from erikl, I took a deep view to the AMS Hitkit 4.10 documentation page. I followed the steps illustrated in the document 'Safe Operating Area Check'. You just need to add all the required .scs files in the model library setup and the required .scs file in simulation files setup.
After having done all of this I tried to simulate once again the circuit and the output log menu has shown me an error like this:
ERROR (VACOMP-1008): cannot compile ahdlcmi module library spectre.
So I followed the istructions I've found in the thread 243691 (https://www.edaboard.com/threads/243691/).
In particular I modified my .bashrc file adding:
export CDS_AHDLCMI_ENABLE=NO
This is how I solved the problem, hope this will help future users!

I forgot to add in my previous post that I also added the build-essential. Dominik, I use LM17.
