what are the initial checks while starting physical design(after synthesis)? help me!

i'm new to physical design. i'm going to start a project in physical design.
i dont know what are the initial checks have to do. please can any of help me.. thank you.

Hi,

You must study the standard cell documents which is very importand to understand the basic concepts of converting RTl to GDSII.

checks means you first understand the requirements like area and pin locations which are specified in the given input files.

you can do clock tree synthesis and timing analysis to produce efficient output.
