About guard rings in cadence

how many contacts should be placed in p and n guard rings?
 

I have to know depending on the circuit it should be how much?
 

Without knowing any of your parameters

  • process size
  • bulk or epi process
  • type of circuit
  • power consumption of circuit
  • guard ring spacing
  • guard ring width
... I'd advice: max. contact spacing < 5*contact_size .
