Hi all,
I am supposed to design simple microstrip patch antenna with 50Ω cpw feed in HFSS. I know cpw equations how to use these equations and calculate related dimensions. I also confirmed it with using some programs such as TXline and AppCAD however at the end I can't find reasonable return loss values at the desired center frequency.
Then I tried to verify some IEEE essays related to my topic and came across the same problem. I designed every dimensions like in the essays and at the end, couldn't find same return loss which was given in the essays.
I think my problem is feeding the cpw in HFSS. I tried both lumpports and waveports. Also read every thread about cpw in edaboard and HFSS tutorials but can't figure out what is wrong into my drawing.
Can somebody check my attached file and tell me what am I doing wrong and how to correct them.
Thanks in advance
Regards eldamar...
