What does Negative output polarity in a schottky diode detector mean?

Hi, I was going through the data sheets for some Schottky diode detectors for a project of mine. According to one data sheet, it says that the diode model has a "Negative output polarity". I'm wondering what this means. And example of which is here in the catalogue for the diodes provided by Herotek. (Just use ctrl+F to find the part about negative polarity)

My initial understanding was that the output voltage was inversely related to the input power, meaning as the input power increases, the output voltage decreases. But when I saw another detector diode from Eclipse Microwave, which also says that the detector has a negative output polarity, the next page shows the transfer curve of the detector having a positive slope for the input power vs output voltage relationship. **broken link removed**

So now I am confused with the meaning. Can someone please explain this part to me? I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thank you :)

or could it simply mean that the negative end of the diode is at the output end of the connector?

and it says that their models are "Negative output polarity standard"

Does this simply mean that the output end of the connector is the negative end of the diode or does it mean that the input power vs output voltage curve relationship is negative (ie. as input power increases, the output voltage decreases?) ?
