Hi every one,i want some help in boost dc to dc converter,in calculations and in simulation results are fine.My problem is implementing into practical, my converter was design to work 3KW Power, which means 60V *25A,during some period the capacitor current became 25A, and i couldn't fined any capacitor which can handling this amount of current, thanks in advance.

At these Ampere levels you might want to consider interleaving 2 or more boost converters. It will greatly reduce stress on your smoothing capacitor as well as other components.

Simulation:

I went with your figure of 60V and 25A.
It totals 1500W rather than 3kW.

Notice the smoothing cap has less than 10A going back and forth through it.
If that is too much, then you'll need to put a gang of capacitors in parallel.

hi. may i know which simulation software are you using???

thanks for the link, is a great software. may i know, how do you save it??

Select File>>Export.

In the recent version (1.6), an ordinary Save window appears.

In an older version (1.5), a window appears containing text. Copy the text, paste it into a word processor, and save it to disk.

I like to use 1.5, because it is easy to re-arrange the scope traces directly.
