500mw pa

Hi folks,
I need output power: 100mW, 500mW & 1W PA IC SMD for 2.4GHz~2.5GHz.
Please help me or send any links. Thanks a lot.

2.4ghz pa

AP1045 can deliver typical power 28.5dBm (0.7W) in 802.11b.
P1dB is at 30dBm (1W).

Hi,

You could use RF2126 from RFMD. Here is the link to the datasheet:

2.4ghz booster smd

Hi. What do you want this device for ?. I recently found a very good quality 2.4 GHz stereo audio sender but the output was very low.
I needed an amp to supply me with about 500mw or so.
I found on ebay a 1/2 watt wifi booster. This worked well for about 2 mins and then it failed. It took out the final PA. Lucky for me I was able to replace it with some 2.4 GHz gaas fets I had in stock and was lucky enough to get it going again. After reseting the bias and installing a current limiting supply and a heatsink it now goes good. I have fed it into a 19dbi grid type dish ants and am hoping for good weather so i can test. I am expecting to get 20,000 metres or so. 20klms.
I think the original failed as the duty cycle was not designed for 100 % and it was overdriven, so if your experementing make sur you look up the specs and do not exceed the PA device ratings. I really wanted to get the 2126 mentioned earlier, but buying ones and twos was bloody expensive. If i can help drpo me a email. Cheers mark (zl2who at QRZ.com) markken at xtra.co.nz

20km using half-watt PA on 2.4GHz would be a challenge. Even is using a 19dBi gain antenna. There is a lot of path loss, fade margin, feeder loss, etc, to compensate.
Probably it will work fine in a narrow band system as SSB or CW communication. 73's.

Hello all. We finally hardened up and went out in the dark and cold to test this link. With the RF gear mounted within 500mm from the antennas we have tested a 25Klm path. To our suprise there is pleanty of signal. As the audio stereo is digital and not analog there is no noise and no data packet loss. The digital specs are 44.1KHz at 16k sample rate, which is the same as DC quality so im not to sure of the bandwidth of the signal. I can only compare it to composite FM broadcast bandwidth. We may try 30 to 40 klms next. Regards mark.

which is the same as CD quality
