I recently bought a small yacht and am rapidly discovering the world of marine electronics. The AIS system operates over VHF and gives users information regarding vessel position speed and course. Receivers are not too costly but transponders are. I was wondering if anyone on the forum has written PIC based code for the transmission protocol.
