Hello all,
I have tried all the basic transimpedence amplifier circuits present in OPA380 datasheet but they are not working for me. I am very disappointed as I am unable to implement the simplest transimpedence amplifier. I have tried applying bias voltages to photodiode and op-amp's +ve pin but it shows not results.
I am getting frustrated due to this.
Can some one show me the basic tested working circuit of this amplifier with it's output waveforms ?
Can I get 0 and 5 V output if I just turn on and off the light at photodiode or is it compulsary to provide switching light on to it ?
It is urgent so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I would suggest first to try a circuit without photodiodes - for example the inverter as shown in Fig. 13 of the data sheet.
And then - if you have convinced yourself that the amplifier works correctly - try to use it as current-to-voltage converter.

The Op- amp works correctly. Kindly suggest me next steps. Suggest me some direction to proceed.
