Float Sensor Interfacing

How can interface Float Sensor with PIC16F877A?

I tried, I got current varations in output of float sensor,
but i need voltage variation for giving to ADC of PIC!.......

This task for Fuel measurement Project!...........
 

hi,
What is the range of input current.?
I assume you want the I to V conversion to give you 0V thru +5V for the PIC's ADC.?

Max-250mA, but I need better sensor for doing this project!.....
could you pls suggest me any other sensor for fuel measurement?

hi,
250mA sounds a very current for level sensor output.?

Could you post some details of the project, liquid volume etc.
As its fuel tank perhaps you should consider the safety aspects of any sensor you use.

you may use simple potentio meter instead of float. Any value you desired. And can be interface with pic through adc
