Question about VMWare / Virtualbox

hi sir and ma'am what is better virtualization software for you vmware or virtualbox?

i am confused regarding this method.. if i install windows 7 or 8 in VMware
can i install software inside that OS for example Java, VB, Arduino IDE etc...?

if you do a web search on vmware vers virtualbox you will get plenty of links

I have run virtualbox for years - mainly on l Win7 PCs with WinXX, Win7, Linux, etc in virtualbox
You can instal what software you need as with a non virtual operating system (assuming you give the virtual machine sufficent memory etc to run it)
If you give permission the virtual operating systems can access peripherals such as USB devices, hard disk folders, etc and the internet
