According my Info, same Model & Version BIOS Version cannot be overwrite through software updating procedure, possible through chiplevel BIOS copier.

Some of the Tips i want share with u SIR,

1) Enter into BIOS ( means CMOS ) setup

a)now check power button to power OFF.

b)Again, Enter into BIOS ( means CMOS ) setup ; now go to save & exit this for restart the Machine. now machine gets restart or not.

Note: below process done ; first backup ur data into external Hard disk or Pendrive depends up ur data capacity. and remove from the Machine.
Also disconnect LAN cable or other Internet connectivity sources.

If ur using Trail or ***** OS Version, i.e; notOriginal OS (may be with Machine installed !)

2)Complete format ur Hard disk

i) Now take good working OS DVD--- without service pack because update service pack after below chekups done (this OS DVD works in other laptop`s) & fresh OS install into the Machine, if ur having genuine OS key update (service packs) with OS vendor (this procedure only for using Genuine OS); if using Trail or ***** OS don`t update any soft`s. Exception to anti-virus updates.

After installation done, restart the Machine. now check machine gets restart or not.

ii)If u r having working Drivers DVD install them or download fresh drivers from ASUS site & install into machine.

After installation done, restart the Machine. now check machine gets restart or not.

99% problem gets solve!
