KiCAD Pin#1 marking for SMD component

Hi All,
I am trying to make JTI-2450BM15A0002 footprint (https://www.johansontechnology.com/datasheets/baluns-matched/2450BM15A0002.pdf) in KiCAD.

Wondering how do I indicate the pin 1 marking in the footprint?
One approach can be to give pin 1 a "squared-off" pad, and all other pins a "rounded pad". But I can’t seem to find those shapes in the footprint pad editor in KiCAD. I see ‘rectangular’ and ‘trapezoidal’ shape but they don’t look different.

Can anyone please suggest?
 

Use 'Oval' for other pads and "Rectangular" for pad 1. You can edit individual pads and if necessary adjust the width and length of the pad to match it's neighbors after changing it's shape.

Its a surface mount device, use the recommended footprint is best, the size is going to be so small you would hardly notice. use some other method such as silk, or do what many do and rely on data and pick and place info being correct.
I have never seen anyone do a different pad for an SMD devices pin 1 (PTH, some use a square pad) but for small SMD devices you are best sticking to the recommended pad size.
I would read up on IPC-7351 and "The CAD Library of the Future"
