I try to make a transmitter usinG BPSK,but i had trouble with the receiver,i use an AM receiver to receive the signal, but it can't give the digital output, what should i do with the receiver?.Does anyone have a schematic diagram for the receiver, please?

bpsk reciever

You will have to put a psk detector at the end of the IF chain in place of the AM detector. It might be easier to use FSK and have a PLL as the FSK detector. If you do need the PSK, look up "costas loop' on the web or in a communication theory textbook for circuits.

You could even use on-off keying and the AM receiver would work as is.

BPSK signal carries the information is the phase, not in the amplitude. So you can directly use the AM receiver to detect it. Like Flatulent has said, you may either change your transmitter or the receiver.

design of bpsk receiver

I made the modulator using motorola MC1496,when i give this modulator using an analog input,it can be received using conventional AM tuner, but when the input changed to digital signal it can't be returned to its original information.By the way,I'm a student and this transmitter is for my final project,my proffessor told to use the conventional AM Tuner for the receiver, and no need to use any PLL.but he didn't explain how to convert the signal after being received by the tuner.
