Can communication problem.....

i an working on a can project using mcp2515 as can controller.
If i have get a bit error , or stuff error in bus than how my controller will detect that is an error and which type ?
( i wanna to know how controller behave when get an error an how could i know about error...)

if you go to the Microchip MCP2515 pictail plus page

and under Package Contents download 'MCP2515 Pictal Plus daughter board firmware'
https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/00194R1_ Firmware.zip
unzip it and you will find the CAN_spi_demo project with the CAN software

but can i check error in programing .. by using mcp2515 resister... without analyzer...
