Hello
I have a 6 months intership withing a steel factory , and I want to understand how the induction furnaces operates,
I have a question about the eddy current wich appear when putting a metal (or scrap) in a magnetic field.
well the eddy current is big enough to melt the scrap , but is it big enough to kill a human , because i saw the melters touching some tall and big scrap with their hand while the magnet crane putting it inside the furnace and nothing happened to them , why is that ?
