i have used a simulator for generating a signal where the signal arrived at different paths
each with different mag. and phase how to add these paths considering they came at different delays

i have found this equation but dunno how to implement it in matlab

To take an example using sine waves...

Suppose the broadcast frequency is 440 MHz (one cycle 2.27 nSec)...

And the delayed signal is 1 nSec...

Then the phase difference is at the 44 percent mark (158 degrees) through the cycle of the first signal.

The present amplitude of the second signal is calculated from the amplitude of the first signal 158 degrees in the past.

Normally (though not always) the second signal is weaker.
