hi,

Error: Missing Model

i got this error after creating my own MOSFET model. i've tried to edit the model many times using pspice model editor but the same error message came out. and i have problem in editing the MOSFET part. the part is not the standard part as the G (gate) pin is located at the left/right side of the component (which supposed to be at the center).

what to do?

error: missing model

i got the error on Orcad's PSpice 9.2. but i'm using Capture for the circuit. i'd created the model trough the model editor. and exported it to .olb before adding it to Capture's library.

the model i made is of PMOS type. i got no problem with NMOS, it's just that i don't know how to connect to NMOS in series because it's body is tied to the source and i had tried edit the model so the body will have different pin that is not connected to the source, but failed. the netlist of the circuit showed only three pins are used (g, d, s), while the body pins connects to nothing. the NMOS is okay.

the last resort that i could do is using PSpice A/D. but still i want to use Capture.

models/error.mdl not found

Hi ,

I want to use PMOS of model Editor , i have no prblem with NMOS too.

when i use it in capture , it says "Error -- missing model" (i add the file to library section of profile editor)

Could you tell me please help me , how can i have a new custom PMOS in pspise?

Hi ,

I got it, such problem is issued when nom.lib does not get updated , but , you can do it under OrCad v10.3 easily without any problem.
