Changing ouput capacitance of supply according to load

hi,
Is it recommended to add/remove a capacitor at the output of a boost converter depending on the load , e.g, for low load single cap, for high load 1 + add 1 more.
 

For a boost convert it is recommended you use PFM for low duty cycle <<x% and PWM for > x% then Cap value may be constant.

Since loop stability varies with x% this is often kept high like 25~50%
