Hi,

I have a SIM908 Learning Board which I got off eBay (but exactly the same as this http://www.csgsm.com/?view-75.html). I am only intending for now to use the GPS and dont need a network connection.

I am unable to get the SIM908 to respond to any AT commands. I have searched the forum and tried a few different solutions found (using hyperTerminal, adding /r and few other). I think perhaps there is some sort of issue on TX and RX lines causing a loopback but I am new to this and very unsure.

The card is connected via serial to USB cable to windows 7 x64 and have used multiple serial program like SSCOM etc. I also tried NMEA GPS and it would not respond. I did not receive much documentation with this and the ebay seller is missing, have tried to use other material found online but no help. I have also tried with and without SIM card inserted.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have attached a screenimage of the output loop.
