Hello Everyone;

i am attempting , but dont kno whow to do this:

I have a temp control and i would like to retrofit to turn on / off
a 120v ac supply to a motor ( rotary type ).

so i have a temp ( oven temp probe ) and i need to instead of haveing an alarm go off,
use that signal to turn the motor off.
Hope that makes sense and i look forward to any help / assistance.

thanks a million;

Use contactor to switch the motor.Use relay inside temp.control to control the contactor simple.

3volt dc circuit - would i not need to receive that signal then switch it somehow to the 120v ac?
the motor is controlled manually now with a 120vac wall switch.
