Hello

I'm begginer in HFSS, I tried to smulate a CPW between thw ports, I calculated the dimensions of the cpw to have 50 ohms using Appcad, there is no errors in calculations because I verified them using others softwares
my problem is that I get a stange impedance Z11 or Z22 not equal to 50 plzzzzzzzzzzz can someone correct my design plzzzzzzzz

The Z matrix isn't the simple impedance you are looking for. Why would you use dB for port impedance? Plot S parameters on a smith chart. Center of the plot is Zo. Another option is to use a rectangular plot in the time domain and plot TDRZ(1,1) this is for time domain reflectometry.

thanks for your answer, i was just testing differents plots I don't need the impedance in db, for Z matrix what does it represent exactly!!!!! can we plot the port impedance in the frequency domain in a rectangualr plot???

Is my design correct???
