need schematic of Ademco / Honeywell 4100SM serial interface

Hello,

as mentioned above, I need a schematic of Ademco / Honeywell 4100SM serial interface or the schematic of a compatible interface. The connection to the alarm base station semms to be a serial interface, but I am not sure about the level converter and about the question if the signals are inverted.

Eventually it is possible to use a max 232 TTL to RS 232 level shifter, but I am not sure about that. Does anybody have experience with that and is able to give me some advice? I need this interface to establish aconnection between the alarm base station and the configuration software of Ademco /Honeywall (compass).
