hi , i am currently working in intel project, my work is running regressions and scripting.
i really want to do technical work.
please tell me the prerequisites for becoming asic design and verification engineer(please let me know what should i learn )
and also text books and other sources
 

This reference could be of help. Digital Integrated Circuits, A Design Perspective by Rabaey, Chandrakasan, Nikolic.

Hi,

If you want to be :-

ASIC Design Engineer :- Learn Verilog, Digital Design Concepts, STA, Should have hands on experience with good simulators like NC-Verilog(Cadence), VCS(Synopsis), QuestaSim(Mentor Graphics), ISE/Vivado(Xilinx) etc.

Verification Engineer :- Verilog, System Verilog, STA, Experienced in Simulators above, Digital Design Concepts, Protocols like AMBA,Wishbone,UART,SPI,I2C etc. and methodologies like OVM/UVM/VMM.
