ANYONE WHO KNOWS CAN PROVIDE SOME REFERENCE?

as far as i know , no
u can do it in standard CMOS ,
one of my friends his graduation project was Radiation hardend CMOS APS
"active pixle sensor" in 0.6 u process

thanks

Thanks!
I searched the internet and find that TSMC and UMC offer CMOS Image Sensor Technology. I think maybe it modifies some characterisc of standard CMOS technology.
But I want to know how to design a active pixel on a standard CMOS technology.

Of course you can use standard CMOS process to do imager sensor. However, optimized process gives you better performance.

I have done several chips of CMOS image senosr using standard tsmc process. All work successfully. By the way, are you still interested in working on this topic?

CMOS process for image sensor is not a standard process. It is more expensive and need many other mask to improve the quality of image.

Yibin.

Yibin,
I think you are right. Using standard proecss you cannot get high performance imager, especially with 0.18um or less.
By the way, do you know any job opportunities in CMOS image sensor design? I'll appreciate your information.
Thanks in advance!
