GSM + PIC 16f877a intefacing zigbee

do i need an Xbee or a ZigBee to send a msg from the GSM to the PIC 16f877a

do i need an Xbee or a ZigBee to send a msg from my gsm to the PIC 16f877a to turn on the LED as a test
& could anyone help with the C code

GSM and ZIGBEED doesnt have any connection at all...
 

I dont understand clearly what you are referring to but send an sms you need to interface the gsm module to the PIC 16f87.
