How to calculate DVB-S2 Bit rate

I know the formula for data rate is
Data rate = Symbol rate * Modulation Index * FEC * RS Factor;
Mod Index is 2 for QPSK , and for 8PSK it is 3.
Please tell me is there any additional information is required for calculating Accurate Data rate for 8PSK related to FEC.
