Can you explain how spontaneously turned ON a warning lights of a car?

It happened to me that warning lights of a car spontaneously turned ON for one second when I was driving a car full of people on a motorway. It was exactly at the moment when I was touching my navigation screen (on a cell phone) and not paying so much attention to driving. Can anybody please explain the principle how it could be done? We have this car for around five years and it has happened only once so it's not something happening more times randomly. Thanks for any ideas!
 

Inexplicable things do happen every so often.

Recently I touched the window on my microwave oven while it was operating. At that exact moment it shut off. The fuse in the circuit box had blown.

I had several bulbs running on the same circuit. So I guess the microwave pushed the fuse close to the edge.

But still I wonder, did my touch conceivably have some effect? The only way I can think of is a freak occurrence of static charge. However that does not seem like sufficient cause for that big an effect. Furthermore I did not feel any shock.

Instead it is more likely that it was a chance surge on the power line. And my touching the microwave was a coincidence. I'll never know for sure.
 

A cell phone with enough power to cook your brain can easily interfere with the electronics in a car.
Maybe the car designer does not have a cell phone?
