Hello guys, I have a bipolar two phase 1Ampere Stepper motor along with a driver IC. My application requires the motor to drive a load with its max power. The IC functions well but its limitation is that it would get burned if motor draws more than 0.3A per coil.
KIndly suggest me what should I build to support the function of this IC without any bigger changes. stepper-motor-driver-using-MC3479.png

I need any middle component b/w MC3479 and 4 wires of stepper that may use a seperate supply source but drives the motor in the same order as MC3479 is commanding it to but at 1Amp.

Hi.. Asadkh21

MC3479 is less current stepper motor driver(350mA per coil winding)....

So, you better go with L298.
