Hi guys does any of you have a service manual or circuit diagram for a Blackstar Jupiter 2010 Function Generator you would like to share ? - I have been looking everywhere on the WWW for it, but without any luck.
Apparently my function generator has a display issue it either shows 8888 or nothing at all - the clock / Data from the Zilog Z0869108PSC is missing but I'm stuck sins its a multilayered PCB and I cannot find any datasheet on the Z0869108PSC
Any help would be much appreciated sins I have two of these beasts with the same failure.
Thanks

Being very lucky I borrowed a working unit compared the signals from the Z0869108PSC spend a ridiculous amount of time on the internet to find a diagram and info on the chip which turns out to be a uPC and impossible to find a datasheet on. I ended up positively confirming the Zilog uPC chip was busted - so now all I need is to buy a couple of Zilog Z0869108PSC and my Blackstar Jupiter 2010 Function Generator is back in business.
Though happy that I solved the problem I would still appreciate if anybody have a diagram they would like to share.

I have a Black Star 1.5GHz frequency counter and have the same lack of information on it. I think the company was swallowed up and the product range dropped many years ago.

Be careful with that IC, even if you can get one, it is probably a mask programmed processor and a blank device will do absolutely nothing unless the proper code is put into it.

Brian.
