how to write matlab code for fft

i am trying to write matlab code to find fft using cooley tukey algorithm.
please suggest some good reference

i only know to find ditfft algorithm and just has started studying matlab. so please suggest something really basic to begin with
 

take a Lyons Understanding Digital Signal Processing and matlab help files.

I also have "Fourier Transforms Using MATLAB.pdf". but it is more about using matlab fft functions.
