JDM programer software for windows7

I want to program a PIC microcontroller using JDM programer.I have WINPIC 800 software.But it doesn't works in WINDOWS7.Is there any alternative software for WINDOWS7 ?.

Better look to get or make some decent programmer at least PICKit 2 Clone, its your interest if you plan to do something in electronics with PIC uCs.

For your actual case you can use Windows XP mode in Windows 7.

icprog is working under win7
download here : http://www.ic-prog.com/icprog106B.zip
and dont forget to check : Settings => Hardware (F3) => check Windows API
also use a jdm on a desktop computer as the laptops have weak supply on the com ports

but I agree on stopping using such an old device, and go for a pickit !
