I exported the pcb layout from PADS 9.2 as ascci file, then i imported the ascci file in Orcad 16.5 and converted the .asc to .brd, then i opened the .brd in Allegro PCB editor, but when i stand on a line, it says "Line Segment Net Name: Not on a Net", and some shapes say "Dummy Net", my question is how do i relate all the lines and shapes to Nets, how do i relate them to components.

Thanks.

Some time back even i tried this conversion..
This process will not give good results and the nets or traces will be converted to Lines which will not recognize as traces in Allegro.
