What would be the best way to synchronize all the hardware on a real-time dsp system?

Is it better to use an external clock module and feed the clock to all the modules on the board?

Or use the uP clock to synchronize the ADC and DAC?

Hi Andy the best way to synchonize or the way I did it on a uC interface was to use an external clock. The biggest advantage or rather the flexibility I got was to have a clock divider circuit for each module so as to make them operate independently.
