Hi guys...i need a AC 230 v detector circuit..when switch is on which taken i / p to controller..using opto coupler..and detail of the circuit

Use High Value resistor make divider & Apply divider output to Opto input. Before this add half or full wave rectifier with capacitor for smoothing DC level. at output we get isolated output

20k to 200k for the i/p resistor and capacitor range 470uf/63v,diode of 1W these range enough for that circuit guys..and this gives circuit gives continues 5v dc pulse..
