for M.TECH thesis of optical communication

give me your views about M.tech thesis topic..i have two options to choose the topics i.e 1.OTDM and 2.BPSK Intensity Modulated Free-Space Optical Communications but m confused about to choose one.plz suggest me one sufficient topic.
 

thnx for suggest me a topic. can you plz give me some introduction about it? is it easily implemented on optisystem?
 

hey shushank.thnx for reply..my guide suggest me coherent optical OFDM ,DWDM and tunable filters..what about it??

You can go through coherent optical DWDM systems , but depends which version of this software you are using, as OptiSystem 10 , 11 & 12 can support only simulations regarding optical coherent OFDM systems. In the older versions you have to design OFDM modultators as well as demodulators with the help of matlab then from matlab you have to export it to Optisystem. I hope this helps you :)
 
ok..thnx but i've no optisystem software yet for macbook pro....:(
