hi all,

I wonder which of the following two books is better for self-study on analog IC:

Analysis and design of analog integrated circuits, by Gray, etc.
and
Bipolar and MOS Analog IC Design, by Grebene.

What is the major difference between the two?

Thanks,
eco

Grey Meyer is the bible of analog IC.
Mazz

Both are good reference books.
But can analog circuits be mastered only by book study?

I think Gray, Mayer book is more fundamental and complete.
But for modern analog IC design you need other books.

Recommend Gray

certainly gray's
and you can also refered to razavi's and ken martin's book

Grebene is also good but
Analysis and design of analog integrated circuits, by Gray
is the best

where to download ebook by Gray? is it about CMOS IC?

i think the disign of cmos radio-frequency integrated circuits by Thomas H.Lee is the best.

where to download this book?(Thomas H Lee)

I agree.
One book cannot make you become a designer.

first read gray's.next read another one.for gray's book is most basic.

I think Dave Johns also a very good one

Prof. Gray's book is the classical book, and Berkley is the best.

For cmos, I think razavi's book is very good

Hi,

From a theorical point of view, I think Gray&Meyer's book is the more complete. It provides deep insight on analog problems.

From a "sensitive" point of view, Razavi's book provides you with an interesting analytical sense that helps understand analog circuits' issues, in a kind of philosophical way.

Razavi's is easier to handle.

I think that both are usefull.

Gray is the first priority for reading and then you can choose Razavi or Lee's.

a simple one is Baker's book, it is simple as an entrance.
