Hi,

I am working on OFDM system channel estimation and trying to understand the estimation methods which are used to get the channel frequency response. Can anyone please explain the estimation methods "least mean squares-LMS" and "mean square error-MSE" ?How they works in channel estimation? What are the algorithms for these methods?

Thanks.

Hi again, I would appreciate if someone could help me on these methods.

Many thanks!

Hi,
If you go to google and search under "least mean square" you can get a lot of information and some video lectures on youtube for LMS and MSE.

Also, the following book has an entire chapter on channel estimation using LMS and MSE with some matlab code for these two algorithms. I used them in my own implementation of the LTE PHY layer and work just fine. You can get the PDF file of the book on the Internet.

Good luck
