[SOLVED] [MOVED] Pic16f877a input sensor problem lm324

Hello everyone,
First of all I am very thankful to this forum for post and great help while reading diff threads.

After searching a lot I am posting this thread so as I can get help in solving my problem.

using a development board
LM324n IC for proximity sensor (checked its working i.e led is glowing and voltage of 4v as output)
input port RB2
output PORTA

My aim - To take input from Lm324n and when output is high at lm324 then glow all led of PORTA

Problem-1. When input to RB2 given by direct vcc program works (voltage at pin 4v) i.e LED glows.
2. When input to RB2 given by Lm324n output ------NONE led glow.
note:- voltage at RB2 when connected to lm324n output is .8v
and I have tried many diff combination for Input/ output ports.

I am not able to figure out the problem causing this please help.

And also want to is the output of lm324 analog or digital.........plz urgent

Problem solved ...
Converted Analog input of lm324n to digital
I used AN0 as input and configured ADC
ADCON1=0x87;
and it worked.
