0.5V GaAs LNA with 1dB NF??

I just got back from a research presentation in which the author claimed he used a GaAs LNA with a supply voltage of 0.5V, biased with 9mA, with a gain of 20dB and NF of 1dB at 400MHz. He did not share the manufacturer or model of the device.

I've never heard of such low supply voltage LNAs outside of CMOS, so it smelled like BS to me, but I can't say I have much experience with GaAs LNAs. Do these numbers sound realistic?
 

It will not make sense without knowing the foundry/technology which has been used in the design of this LNA but it may be possible..
But GaAs devices introduce pretty high noises at lower frequencies around 50-200MHz because of flicker effect.If they overcome this problem, please let us know..;-)
