Hi All,

I doing some study on op-amp with open drain output. i.e Simulation items on this type of op-amp. however, I cannot find any related information so far.

Can anyone provide me the information or direct me to where can I obtained information about this type of op-amp design and simulation?

Thank you in advance~

I have never seen an op amp with an open drain (or collector) output, but many comparators have this configuration. Why would you want an op amp with an open drain output? :-?

I know at least one OP with open collector output, Siemens TAA761, a legacy device from the 1970s years.

I don't understand what the question is targetting on. It's quite easy to design an open collector or open drain OP, also simulation shouldn't be a problem.
But what is it good for?

Thank you for replying.

FYI, I looking for this type of op-amp to drive a resistive load.

the op-amp will control the NMOS resistance to control the current flowing through the resistive load.
