How to view a .dat image file??

.dat image

hi,

i am doing image processing with a .dat file, and i would like to see after each process what change happens to the .dat image file..
how can i view this .dat file??
can i convert it into anyother format and view it?


i have also attached an .dat image file...

What is your software that use to create this file?.
As my knowledge .dat format is using for video files, that can view with meadia player.
you can use .jpg , .tiff ect... for view image files or .gif for animations and use software that suport above extentions.

hi,

FINALLY i made it work.
.dat can be an image file also.
and to view it, write a simple C program to read in .dat file and create a .raw file and write into it.

and you can view the .raw file in photoshop.
just have be careful while setting the height and breadth of the image.
