Please let me know that how to interface DOT MATRIX DISPLAY to laptop by using serial port or USB and C programming of DOT MATRIX.

Can anyone tell me about that?
 

Ahmed, without appropriated driver between laptop and dot matrix is it not possible to drive this...
 

Do you "driver" mean interface device?.If I program the microcontroller to drive DOT MATRIX DISPLAY ,is it not enough and let me know about theory of operation to drive DOT MATRIX?
 

Can you specify how much rows and columns you need to drive? and is this one or more colors?
 

Any number of rows and columns can be drive i.e 8x8 , 5x7 and so on,please refer for both one color and more color seperately?

u need to do multiplexing.....if u want to drive the matrix with few i/o pins of microcontroller. there are many led driver IC's in the market....
